I’m holding space to Be together for some soft space and ‘still-processing’ time in our Art Club zoom meetup today (Wednesday 6 September)
5-6pm BST (time converter here)
Quiet space to gather and practice/process via your creative outlet.
No expectations / ‘level’ / requirement to participate.
We check in, i’ll offer a short embodied creative prompt to take/leave, then we’ll have a quiet pomodoro session with cameras on/off where you’re welcome to explore your own practice/project (bring something or use this as free space)
After the session, there’s an option to stay on for 15 mins for a tea + chat, whether to share what you were / are exploring in your practice.

What is Art Club?
Art Club is quiet time in virtual community (via zoom) to focus on our creative and embodiment practice and process.
Mirroring (sometimes called body-doubling) can be helpful to some to support task initiation and finding focus. Being in community can help us to remember our interconnectedness.
It’s for those of you who are looking for some quiet company and gentle accountability.

How does this work?
Here’s a rough guide!
Embodiment check-in / prompt to create a space to land
We check in to share our intentions via the chat + please note: your intentions can CHANGE cause we invite the EASE and SPACIOUSNESS into this community space (but it can help to have a starting point you feel inclined to explore which also includes finding a starting point for something you’d like to explore…!)
Offering of a mantra / encouraging words from wise elders and peers will be shared 4u to take/leave
Dionne will share a playlist you can take or leave (vibing to it currently, hope it will provide soft-focus-dreamscape vibes!)
We mute and find our focus with a 45 minute Pomodoro session. Optional camera on/off - can help to be ‘on’ for accountability but you choose what is ‘seen’
We check-in 5 minutes before closing the official session
Option to stay on for 15 mins tea + chat post-session to share what you were / are exploring in your practice.
What should i bring?
Any tools which you’re exploring in your practice, and if you’re not sure, a pen / pencil and some paper is more than enough to create
Pets VERY welcome to this portal!
Bring any sensory tools/ aids for comfort/delight
Hydration aids and snacks and anything which helps you feel comfortable
