Thank you for Being here.

I also want to take the opportunity to give an extra thank you to my new and seasoned subscribers for supporting me in this space. Thank you for giving me hope and purpose with my writing and multimedia making! It truly means the world! 💜

I’m on an artist residency! It’s absurd to be here! Although i’ve known this has been coming for some time, i’m still adjusting! But we’re ever-in-process right? So with that, i wanted to share i’ll be starting a series on here which, so far, is imaginatively titled: ‘Paris Diaries’... please prod me with a better name if you like, hehe. I’ll be sharing much more from this journey, so do feel welcome to subscribe if you’d like more on Paris-related adventures!

A taster of some of upcoming posts include:

  • Regulating overwhelm when out on these streets, Hashtag - we outside

  • My toolkit for leaving the apartment, Neurospicy adaptations for life in Le Marais (inner city Paris)

  • BTS video tour of the studio

  • Maps of my fave 3rd wave coffee spots in Paris

  • Baked goods appreciation

  • Maps in general (i like maps!)

  • Packing whilst neurospicy

  • Living in Paris on a budget

  • Art stuff, music stuff, embodiment stuff, food stuff

  • Fave parks i recommend (with heavy emphasis on spaces where you’re likely to get good dog meeting opportunities)

And much more!

Plus, some not-Paris-related-posts including ‘an ode to Jon Secada and friends’ (although i’m still on the fence as to whether i’m pushing it, as it’s been sitting in my drafts for some time!) but in general, you can expect words related to my adventures paying attention in this city as a disabled, neurodiverse-spicy-divergent-emergent human artist living with limitations, who is trying to be here despite burnout and re-emergence, whilst trying to heal and take care and also make things, and what that’s like.

So if that sounds like something you’d be into, you can subscribe below and look out for me somewhere in your inbox! Or feel free to recommend to a friend who might dig!

📹 Cue: a live windowswap rawdog video moment to peek outside my studio window with an awkward voiceover from me but hey- it’s almost live and in real time and i wanted to say hello! So hello! 👋🏽
